Meet The Doctor:

Dr. Tanya’s mission is to bring health, vitality and optimal wellness to all clients through an intricate combination of ancient holistic methods and cutting edge integrative biomedicine, allowing clients to look, feel and be their very best selves, no matter what ails them. As a natural Doctor, she believes in thoroughly assessing the physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental and social factors contributing to the health of each individual patient.

Dr. Tanya is a graduate of the Doctor of Naturopathy program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. This is one of only two medical colleges in Canada at which it is possible to become a Naturopathic Doctor. Before pursuing a degree in Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Tanya completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.), majoring in Psychology at York University in Toronto.

Further to her education at CCNM, Dr. Tanya has completed training in Applied Kinesiology, Biotherapeutic Drainage, Reiki Healing Methods, Colon Hydrotherapy, IVIT, and Facial Acupuncture.

Dr. Tanya is specially trained in the use of Bio-Identical Hormones and how to apply it holistically and effectively for many health concerns, especially perimenopause. BHRT can be used to relieve symptoms of hormone imbalance or deficiency while keeping your safety at the forefront. Bio-identical hormones are extracts from plants that are exactly like the hormones your own body makes. BHRT is designed to optimize your body’s own hormone levels, whether they have declined through age or because of an underlying condition.

Dr. Tanya is a member of both the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. She is providing health care and accepting new patients at Health in Balance in Cambridge, Ontario and remotely via Telepractice.
